Alberto Rivera Romero. Research Assistant

Alberto Rivera Romero obtained his bachelor’s degree in Materials science and Engineering at Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM). During his bachelor’s Degree, he held his bacherlor’s thesis on “Determination of damage in composite materials by laser interferometry”. Then, he completed his master’s degree in Advanced Materials Analysis at Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg. His master’s thesis title was “NiMn2O4 spinels characterization using Raman spectroscopy and photoluminescence”. During his master’s, he worked at the Department of applied physics in the project RAMSES 4-CE, using Raman spectroscopy for characterization of polymers for the recycling industry and circular economy. He joined the MATERALIA Group in May 2023 as Research Assistant to work on the European Project ‘Hydrogen metallurgy for decarbonizing the steel and copper production industries’ (ZteelCOp).
