 Research Gate Profile

David de Castro Mazariegos obtained his bachelo´s Degree in Materials Engineering at Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC). During his bachelor´s Degree he held an internship and his bachelo´s thesis at the Materalia Group, in the National Center for Metallurgical Research (CENIM-CSIC), working on the microstructural characterization of a TWIP/TRIP steel. Then, he completed his studies of Master´s Degree in Manufacturing Technologies and Processing of Materials in the Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC), he held his Master´s thesis at the Materalia Group, working on the microstructural characterization of super high strength steels with a lath-like ferrite matrix and retained austenite microstructure obtained by different heat treatments. Nowadays, he works as Phd students at Materalia Group in CENIM-CSIC. His research areas are focused on improved formability in 3rd generation advanced high strength (AHS) microalloyed steels by nanosize precipitation and microstructure control during and after hot rolling, and advanced microstructural characterization of super high strength steels with a lath-like ferrite matrix and retained austenite microstructure obtained by different heat treatment.
